Stress-free wedding stationery: I’m your graphic design sidekick!
Designing your wedding stationery is a fun process. It’s collaborative, so whatever you can dream up, we can make it happen. I do understand that not everyone has directed a graphic design project before! If you’re new to this, perhaps a little overwhelmed, then please don’t worry. I can take you through the process, step-by-step, and together we can craft your absolute dream wedding stationery. No sweat (and pretty enjoyable too)!
All of my design costs are transparent, so you don’t have to feel confused at any point - but if you do, I’m always around to answer any questions.
When I was getting married, it wound me up no end that people would put their prices behind newsletter sign-up forms, or not reveal their costs at all unless I gave them all my personal details! I’m well aware that price is a method of ruling suppliers out. I’m upfront about what it costs and why I’ve priced it like that.
Firstly, we’ll have a friendly, informal consultation so I have the opportunity to get to know you both and what you are looking for. This can be done over the phone, email, video chat or in person, depending on what you prefer and where you’re based. This covers 5% of the cost - and of course costs you nothing at all if you decide I’m not the right designer for you.
Next, we have the ideation and research stage, and at the end of this bit I’ll send you some initial designs. Alongside the main design time and edits to your stationery suite, and any crafting you might choose. This covers about 75% of the cost. It’s the biggest body of work - and definitely my favourite bit!
After that, cloud storage of your design files, preparation for print, meticulous quality-control pre- and post-print and the postage and packaging of your stationery covers the last 20% of the cost.
Depending on how you’d rather work, we can email, jump on a call or video call. I always relish this opportunity to find out a bit about the two of you. How did you meet? What was your first date? What do you like doing together? It builds a more thorough picture of what you’re all about which in turn helps me design something you’re more likely to fall in love with.
We can discuss pattern, colour, your style icons, where your wedding might be. Anything and everything that forms the foundations of what you want your wedding day to be like, I wanna hear about it!
Give me a week, and I’ll get back to you with some initial sketches and ideas. We use these as a springboard to get us started. About a fortnight later, I’ll send you some designs based on your feedback, and we make amendments until you’re bursting at the seams to send those invites out!
I set up this little company for two main reasons: Firstly, because I couldn’t find what I was looking for out there when I was planning my wedding. I wanted alternative wedding stationery, and it seems like others do, too! Secondly, because I really do adore designing for celebrations and it makes my LIFE when people tell me they’ve framed their save the date and have displayed it on their wall.
I have been a graphic designer, and then later a user-experience designer for a decade (which makes me feel simultaneously proud and old!) I’ve seen projects go astray, so I know what to avoid, and I’ve seen my customer’s absolute delight and excitement when things all line up perfectly.
The wedding industry is a vibrant community to work in, but it can have it’s downfalls. It can sometimes be pretty archaic, and under-representative. I want my company to be accessible to any couples in love, with no prerequisites or expectations.
I’m the right designer for you if you want a friendly sidekick to help you through the design process, a fair price for stationery, you want to support an indie business and you’re seeking an alternative to mainstream style.

It has been such a pleasure to work with Carly on our wedding stationery. From the very beginning I felt like Carly just “got” the style that we were after and was so patient with any revisions and tweaks that we asked for along the way.
We were so delighted when the box arrived and we saw the quality and creativity of the final invitations (not to mention the beautiful way they were packaged!)
When we had to postpone the wedding, Carly worked with us again to send out postponement cards, she really was such a positive shining light in what could have been such a stressful time. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend her!

Couldn't rate Carly enough, our invites were absolutely perfect. Carly listened to what we wanted and was so easy to deal with. We had so many positive comments about our invites and have framed our table name cards as we loved them so much (they were travelled themed) We had a number of date changes due to the pandemic & Carly was so helpful to us during this time.

Carly’s designs for a website and place settings, table names and signs brought to life our wedding day. She had a fast turnaround of ideas, and is really easy to work with. We loved the results!

When my fiancé and I began exploring wedding stationery designs we quickly found that a lot of the template designs came with a hefty price tag, and didn't quite fit the vision we had for our invites. From the initial briefing conversation, through to receiving the final product, Carly was professional, attentive and dedicated to helping us create the personalised invites we were so desperate to find.
Carly's attention to detail and design skills are second to none and communication throughout the whole process was fantastic. Carly came to us with options to discuss and gave us great recommendations based on her vast design experience.
I would recommend Carly to anyone looking to create bespoke invitations with that extra special something. With her help, what can be a daunting process will be stress-free and enjoyable.
