Frequently Asked Questions

So you’d like to work together - that’s awesome, me too! Here’s a breakdown of how to get the ball rolling. I’ve outlined some common questions and answers for you, but let me know if you have any questions of your own and I'll be happy to answer them!

Booking your design space

How do I get started?

The first thing to do is check my availability. Send me an email with your date(s) and I’ll be able to let you know if I have space!

Along with your date(s), let me know -

  1. Whether you want a bespoke design or something from the house collection

  2. The types of stationery you'd like - for example save the dates, invites, wedding day stationery, a wedding website

  3. Your wedding style ideas, either by sharing a Pinterest link, moodboard or just a few pics. This will give me an idea of the vibe of your celebrations

Do you have contracts with couples?

Yes - one of you can sign it digitally, and it outlines how we work together. If you ever are unsure of what the contract states, just shout and I can help.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes, I take a £100 deposit. This is deducted from your first bill - it is not an extra fee. Once you return the signed contract and deposit, I’ll send you a receipt and you’ll be booked in.

What happens after I'm booked in?

If it's bespoke, I'll use the visual inspiration you’ve shared with me to create 2-3 original design ideas. They will be priced up so you can see how much everything would cost, and I'll provide various options at different price points. You can then give feedback on what you like, don't like and which elements you might like to mix. Within a few days, I’ll come back to you with some amended designs.

If it's a customisable design from the house collection, I'll send you some colour and font options in the design of your choice, based on your brief and visual inspiration.

Once you're happy, I'll send you an itemised invoice with your deposit fee deducted, and when that's settled I'll send it to print, craft it all and post it out to you. If it's a wedding website, your invoice is due before we push it live.

Design and delivery

How long does a customisable design take?

Usually 1-2 weeks, depending on the amount of changes you make.

How long does a bespoke design take?

Usually 1-3 weeks, with time for you for feedback and me to make amendments.

Do bespoke designs cost extra?

Yes - there is a flat fee of £250 to cover the extra design time needed for a bespoke design.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I work with clients worldwide and I’ll always bill you in your local currency. I also work with local suppliers if you’re having an destination wedding.

Is there anyone you wouldn’t work with?

If our styles wouldn’t match and I don’t feel I can deliver on what you’re dreaming of, then I’ll tell you honestly and point you in the direction of someone who might be a better fit. I would never work with people who are forthcoming with negative views of other people, their relationships and their right to love.

What if I want to break our contract or cancel my order?

It’ll be laid out in your contract, but essentially we can break our agreement if you let me know in writing. I understand that sometimes things change and I will always help you where I can. I will invoice for time spent or any printed products up until the date you cancel. Your deposit would sadly not be refunded if I have spent time designing your stationery.

Do you do discounts?

I try to make my work and offerings as affordable and fair as possible, taking into account my supply chain and the cost of living. Currently there is no capacity to give discounts unless the design work is for a charitable cause.

What do people say about working with you?

Usually some really nice things! If you’d like to read testimonials, find out more about the process or my policies on inclusivity, you can read more here.
